Health Data Consent
This consent covers your health data and the data derived from your face scan. You give it when you create your account, by checking the box that refers to this document. The Privacy Policy explains everything else.
Before each person's first scan, the app also asks that person to agree to the scan of their face: you, your spouse or partner, and each child 18 or older on your Family plan. For teens 13 to 17, the plan holder's consent counts (section 5). We keep a record of each scan consent: the date, the version of the text, and the IP address and user agent of the device.
[Consumer health data and biometric laws of U.S. states (for example Washington, Illinois and Texas): to be reviewed by U.S. counsel.]
1. What data it covers
- Your health profile: date of birth, sex, height, weight, smoking, blood pressure medication, diabetes and the other conditions and health data you choose to enter.
- The signals derived from your camera video during the scan. The video is not uploaded: it is processed on your phone.
- Your scan results: estimates of wellness indicators and wellness risk scores.
- What you say or type to Naia and the scan results she receives, if you turn on the AI assistant.
- The data you enter about the members of your Family plan.
2. What it is used for
- To compute and show your scan results and your history.
- To manage your Family plan.
- To let Naia answer you with your context, if you turn on the AI assistant.
3. Who receives it
- NuraLogix (DeepAffex): the derived signals and your age, sex, height, weight, smoking, blood pressure medication and diabetes, to compute the results. Not your name or email.
- Only if you accept the separate AI assistant permission in the app: Simli (Norway), Daily, Deepgram, DeepSeek (China) and ElevenLabs, as described in AI Assistant (Naia).
4. Where it is stored
Doc24hrs stores this data and processes it outside the United States, including in Mexico.
5. Teens 13 to 17
Teens 13 to 17 on a Family plan can be scanned only with the consent of the plan holder as their parent or legal guardian; we keep a record of that consent: the date, the version of the text, and the IP address and user agent of the device. Children under 13 cannot be scanned.
If you turn on the AI assistant (Naia), your permission also covers your children 13 to 17 whom you scan: as their parent or legal guardian, you authorize the AI assistant to receive what they say to Naia and their scan results, and to share them with the providers listed in AI Assistant (Naia). You can turn Naia off in Account at any time.
6. Withdrawing your consent
You can withdraw this consent at any time by deleting your account in the app or by writing to us. Without it, Doc24hrs cannot scan you. You can turn off the AI assistant separately, in Account, and keep scanning.
7. Not medical advice
Doc24hrs is a wellness service, not a medical device. It does not diagnose and does not replace a doctor.
